It’s that time again, that time – every couple of years – when you despair over the scant remains of yet another calamitous England ‘effort’ in a major tournament.

It was so bad this time we didn’t even get to experience the false hope and dread of going to penalties. Of course, there is still hope, we’re not out yet (we will be, make no mistake).

Over the last few weeks, whilst England have been disappointing football fans, we’ve been satisfying customers with our 3 WiFi Plugs for £99 offer. They’ve been positively flying, unlike England, so we’re going to extend the offer until Woy’s Boys are definitively on the plane home.

You never know, Italy might do us a couple of favours, we might thrash Costa Rica and we might go on to gloriously win the whole thing, inciting an unprecedented wave of national euphoria. But in all seriousness, you probably only have until Tuesday.

We hope you enjoy, not the football, the offer!

Apple launches HomeKit software

Published on June 10, 2014
Apple have announced that they are launching a new framework for communicating with and controlling connected devices in a user’s home. Apps can enable users to discover devices in their home and configure them, or you can create actions to control those devices. Users can group actions together and trigger them using Siri.

The software will work with apps (such as ours!) which are designed to provide home automation services.

The new software will be launched with iOS8 and should be another interesting tool that developers can use to integrate with WiFi Plug.

We are excited about how we can dovetail our product with this new software!
